In the first quarter of 2024, the performance of the top business finance and business solutions apps on the Android platform in Europe showcased interesting trends in weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

SumUp: Payments and POS saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 9.8K in early January and peaking at approximately 14.8K by the end of March. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained robust, beginning at 357K and peaking at about 407.6K mid-January before settling around 386.4K by the end of the quarter.

PayPal Business experienced a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 11.6K to 13.8K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a slight decline over time, starting at 179.4K and ending at around 160.7K.

Revolut Business demonstrated growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 7.2K and reaching a peak of 9.3K in mid-March. The app's active user base also grew steadily, starting at 82.1K and peaking at approximately 94K before concluding the quarter at 92.3K.
